the r motion is good but it was on 2012 mxz x i jest dont see how new plastic brings the price up 2000$ and the weight up 34 lbs.

BTW, the 34lbs more is because electric start is standard now and considered in the weight, and in 2012 and prior E-start was not standard and not included in the dry weight calculation.

rMotion is a big ting here, it does add weight, but it also adds comfort...R&D needs to be funded from somewhere

Nobody says you have to purchase a BRP product, if you dont like it, then go buy one of those super reliable Poo's or cats :)

i know that's what you could get them for but im talking MSRP not the price the dealer will sale it to you for and when i say 1500-2000$ more that's MSRP compared to last years.

I don't think it's so much a R&D thing as it's new and fancy so they charge more for it.

Weigh gain, isn't really a gain. They are counting es now in the weight, it was there before but not counted. They also said the rmotion, new plastic, thicker running boards with rs wide edging makes up some more wieght.

Secondly where are you getting your pricing?? Ordered a 2012 mxzx and it was MORE then the 2013 I just ordered and it's the same exact sled. Don't see much difference in pricing.

2014 mxzx 1200 (on order),  2013 mxzx 600etec,   2012 TNT 600 ,   2012 mxzx-rs 800etec,   2008 xp 600sdi,   2006 apex rtx,   2006 rev 600sdi,  2005 rev 600ho,   2001 vmax 600,   1988 formula mx,   1977 lynx 292,   1971 tnt,   1969 olympic

The MSRP hasn't changed this year. Infact the 1200X is less for 13 than it was last year. Are you getting confused between Canadian and USA pricing? From what I can tell everything is the same or less for 2013. :Cheers

I think you need to look at pricing again. Basically the same as the 2012 sleds.

The weight diff has been talked about also, read a bit more and come back and tell us what you found out.

My dealer priced a TnT leftover for me and then a new X. The two were less than $500 apart. He seemed somewhat shocked but I agree, if anything the pricing has improved in my opinion. At least in the States
