It looks like the stator, flywheel and box from the 76 supermod kit. The RV disc cover is different from the standard f/a cover though. Possibly 1973 Blizzard cases??

That's a 73 blizzard case and either a 73 blizzard or 76 mod stator. I think (could be wrong as it's been years since I had them) the 77 Blizzard SS used a 050 box.

Other than what Moxy just said about the 73 date stamp. You can tell also from the pto side of the case. I'm also certain that if you turned the case around to the exhaust side there will be fins on it.

That looks a lot like my 73 sand cast case for one of my 245RV's It doesn't have a timing hole drilled open like the 245 case or the mount for the electrical conector plate to bolt on to though. I wonder how it was timmed without being able to see the marks on the flywheel. This link shows the 73 case along with some others. I know that the 73 298 blizzard motor that I know of has the same configuration as the 73 245 rv being different than the 75 and newer rv motors. I have a rotory plate cover like that too. It came in the rv parts I bought when I purchased the 73 case.

I think the confusion, if you can call it that is because of Doo pulling the plug in 73 with the oil embargo. Some of these motors/parts were probably already in the pipeline when the plug was pulled. So naturally Doo used up these motors/parts as soon as they could. I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to release the 245 earlier but because of the conditions decided to hold off. Could be wrong but who know's what would of happened if they would of continued with racing for that short period that they didn't.
