Yes and all that snow on top of ice. Avy will be deadlyBeen waiting all year for this. 10 feet up high in march and counting. It's the most beautiful sight in the world

It's not so bad as you might think. Rained before the good stuff came in... The weak layer is so deep. That said, if it goes, it'll go big! Main danger on slopes +35 degrees. Too deep to even attempt that stuff now.

Where are u riding? Looks like above Tahoe City? I see houses. Hope to hit up the meadows this week.
Near camp sacramento on highway 50. Don't get up to North Lake often.
Still a lot of stuff underneath I was hitting so riding a bit tentative (at least one perfect flying superman dismount). Once it set's up should be perfect.

We postponed our ride another day, 7 feet of light powder in Cali is a stuck fest. After one day of sun it will settle down to a measly 5 feet and then we ride!Hopefully we get the whole day in before it clouds over and starts snowing againGod bless! It's 80 degrees out East today...our season's done. At least someone's having fun!
