It's not so bad as you might think. Rained before the good stuff came in... The weak layer is so deep. That said, if it goes, it'll go big! Main danger on slopes +35 degrees. Too deep to even attempt that stuff now.

Its about time! living in Tahoe myself i get used to 400 in winters every year. This one has been bad, but at least its a happy ending. Just got back from weber lake area north of Truckee. Wow is was deep, kinda too deep for anything but flat. Lots of pow turns and digging stuck sleds. Some of our tracks were 4 ft deep. Beer is good.

Near camp sacramento on highway 50. Don't get up to North Lake often.
Still a lot of stuff underneath I was hitting so riding a bit tentative (at least one perfect flying superman dismount). Once it set's up should be perfect.

We postponed our ride another day, 7 feet of light powder in Cali is a stuck fest. After one day of sun it will settle down to a measly 5 feet and then we ride!Hopefully we get the whole day in before it clouds over and starts snowing again :o .Sorry man
