Rode out of east inlet yesterday. We noticed that there was no snow in town, trails closed, couldn't even get to gas from all directions. We had a great day of riding from east inlet, rode a lot of off trail and the border cut off boundry pond and other places. Good snow in the woods but going fast! It was in the 40s and sunny all day, sweating like crazy riding in the woods but loving it. Brooks were opening up and running strong all day. When we got back to the truck there was noticeably less snow at the parking spot. Pulled out at 530 pm and the truck said it was 45! I can't image it will hold up this week with temps in the 50s and rain. There may be snow in the woods but its gonna be super hard to get to and stumps were already showing where they weren't last weekend. Great day of riding tho if it was the last one.

Thinking the same here. We rode out of Coleman State Park on Saturday, did 93 miles, but the snow is going fast..... With it being so warm, i'm 99.9% positive, it was my last ride for the season.

Yup. Rode the same areas on Saturday also, and it was getting beat. Sad to see it come to an end. Even sadder that I have a new track coming and I won't get to try it till next season :(

Stick a fork in it...

Several days in a row over 60 in Franconia this week. My sled is on the trailer with the cover on it, I don't have the heart to put it up just yet but there are people riding by my house on bicycles. Guess its time to swap the motorcycle for the sled.

Lets hope next "winter" actually happens.

It's gonna be marginal by then for sure. My sleds are on the trailer, just need to drain the gas and fog the cylinders with oil and they're set for the summer. Sad, sad season for me. And my trailer axle is cracked, found that out. FML. Either way the bike is out and running and looking forward to a nice long summer of boating and riding.

Saturday the 17th wasn't too bad actually. The lakes were a little slushy, but we had some pretty good riding considering we were in T-shirts at lunch. The trails weren't done yet, and we did some decent backcountry riding picking through the pines. But, the trail and lake conditions had deteriorated considerably from the morning to the ride home. It's done now for sure. Mid 70's all week this week...So depressing. It's over.

See ya at the grass drags! Have a safe and happy Summer you bunch o' crazy monkeys!
