Wondering if anyone has any pictures they took of the plywood base for their Tundra/Tundra II seat before they put it on.

Mine was totally rotten, to the point that I couldn't use it as a template for the new one. Or even look at how the front is cut to go around the keepers and accomodate the plug connector for the tail light wiring. Any advice or pics would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know if this will help you but here is a picture from the manual . . . Two clips the front of the seat slides into and two bolts in the back.Next week I could probably pop my seat off if you don't have what you need by then. If I remember right there were two large holes in the front of the plywood that slip over the hooks.

I'll pull my 94 Tundra seat on Tuesday and take pictures and measurements of the base if no on gives you an answer by then. Just let me know. It only takes a few minutes. I'm going for a ride on Monday. I should check it anyway for any rust as under the seat is usually the first place you get rust on an Elan or a Tundra II.

Tundra II Seat

This is for a 94 Tundra but I don't think the seats have changed - if someone thinks they have please let us know. The plywood is 16" x 25". The edge of the rectangular holes in the front are 1 3/8 inches from the edge of the plywood. The rectangular holes are 1.5" wide x 3 1/8" long. The bolts in the back of the seat are 13" center to center and 2 3/4 inches from the back of the plywood. As you can see, I do have some rust to take care of. I also have a couple of loose staples. There is a lip under the stables all around the plywood that allows room for the wiring and some air to circulate.

A huge help! Thanks so much. Not exactly the way that I trimmed mine, but pretty close! I learned the hard way how tough it can be to find info like that on older sleds. Good thing this forum is here to help pool the collective wisdom! Thanks again.
