Here is the start of my summit mod build. I picked up a bunch of parts at a great price that I could not pass on.
The only big problem is that a few parts are missing but I have managed to find them cheap to replace them.

Here is what I started with a 02 144

This was never cleaned in a while!

The first actual mod was cut up the tunnel and put WRP Boards on that I picked up for $40 a while back.
These are mad for a xp so a little mod had to be done to make them work.

I also wanted to black out the tunnel so I picked up some bed liner and went at it!

The skid that came with the sled was in hard shape (All rusted together and all the wheels were gone )
Started by replacing most bolts and new shocks and blacking the rails out to and fresh coat of paint on the rest
Posted Image

After the paint dried on the tunnel it was now time to re mount the body, seat and tank

Posted Image

Up next it was time to mount the new 1.5 track that came with it and mock up the rear skid for now

Might look at building some drop brackets to get a tad bit more height in the rear.

Here is a few more shots of the running boards

for a power plant i'm going to try to get a 700. but im going to take what ever comes around for a good price. my plan was to buy a sled with body damage which would be a lot less work

Yup havent done much lately due to the lack of parts but i did get my chain case in and bolted on yesterday i only need a right trailing arm now for a rolling chassie. Im still on the look out for a motor or a full sled.

Put a 670 in there. I found a complete 94 formula 583 complete ran, only had a drive shaft issue for $350. I Put the motor in a zx chassis its ran great the past 2 seaons no problems and is still preety fast. can find those for cheap and make it work with only a few mods

my suggestion is to ditch the oil pump and run pre mix. They like it better then a oil pump that not adjusted perfectly. If you run the oil pump, hook up the cable and dial it in with the motor on the benchPosted ImageEventually,it'll be out of adjustment and run to richPosted Image

oh and btw the sled looks good

If you are still married to your first wife....You aren't riding hard enough.
