Videos of the latest experimental Ski-Doo sled taken at a secret location this past weekend in Northern New York. http://www.youtube.c...EBB5E2147BDC21B
With all most no noise and smoke it must be some kind of covert stealth attack sled.

So here is what we did. I took a Honda GX360 engine out of a Honda lawn tractor and put it in my sons 1969 399 Oly frame. The GX360 is a 13hp water cooled twin cylinder four stroke engine. It is built just like a car engine over head cam timing belt the works and is very quiet. We finally got to riding it last weekend and after figuring out some belt and throttle issues got it up to 18mph on wet slushy snow. I think we can get a good bit more out of the engine it sure has a lot of torque it kept breaking loose the track on the snow on the test runs. I plan on getting the chain case open in the next day or so and seeing what gearing is in there and finding out what options I have for double chain sprockets.

Is that rad from the tractor too ? No fan ?
It looks like it might fit under the hood of a wide track nicely !

The radiator is from the tractor. I may add an electric fan at some point if it dosen't cool with out one. I was looking for a Nordic to Doo this mod but I had a Oly. so----.
