Or use wide Velcro strips.

Gutted the seat pan so I can use the stock mounting parts...got it all down to 6lbs...not bad for a stock seat set up

Looking good. Any idea what the weight was originally? Maybe I should be looking for a used seat to do this to.

Eric, I did this same thing to my last few drag sleds..def makes it comfy..I never gutted the seat pan before this one though..you kinda helped with that idea!! thanks.....

XCR, I'm guessing it had to be close to 15lb range...I forgot to weight it before hand...with just doing the foam, I dropped it to 11lbs and then the seat pan mod brought it down to 6lbs total

Dan, did you have any luck with the mount plate and the pipes touching the belly pan?

Let's face it...most of the stuff in the lounge is useless banter by the same ten or so people.

No, I guess I am going to have to put a 1/2" shim between the motor and mount plate in order to get the clearance I need. :shrug
