Start with the obvious first:
Do you have gas?
yes, also running out of gas doesn't cause those issues. thanks

I kinda had the same thing happen to me.. change your relays out, change your plugs, charge you battery, and spray some kind of lube on the shaft of your starter.... That's all the steps I had to do and she's running great now. Relays is Prolly #1 tho.
Checks the relays and check the 30 AMP Fuse that sits on top of the battery.

My 07 600 sdi quit on the trail last night. out of nowhere it just completely shut off, no warning lights nothing. When i push the electric start it sounds like the starter is clicking, and wont stop unless i hold the start button for a few seconds. the lights on the dash flicker really fast but no codes. atleast none that i can see since it just flickers so fast. I tried pulling it over and it wont start that way either. Can somebody give me a couple ideas of where to start looking?
It sounds like the battery went dead. An SDI will not start without it.
The battery could have died from age, and stopped taking a charge...but I would think the stator would have kept the sled going, and you wouldn't have had an issue until you shut it off and went to restart. This makes me think that it stopped charging and the sled ran off the battery until it died.
Recharge the battery and try to start it. If it starts, check the voltage at the battery with a volt meter. Fully charged should be 12.6, and when running it should show 14 or so. It will go up some when the RPM increases. If the sled starts after being charged, and the voltage drops when running, this indicates that the sled is not charging and just running off the battery and you have a bigger issue.
If the battery is a few years old, just replace it and go from there. You still need to verify that it is charging. My suspicions are that it is not.
Post back when you have done this and let us know what you find.

I had the same thing happen to me before. Turned out to be a chaffed wire going to the tps sensor. It rubbed through the wire insulator and was going to ground
awesome, i'll check that out.

you can get the relays much cheaper from any auto parts store, just take one in with youAny luck? I would check relays as mentioned above I've had similar problems where it would just shut off and sometimes not start up again, battery was charged, connections tight no loose wires etc. Sounded like a starter on mine, but I swapped out relays from my dad's sled into mine and fired up no problem. Bought a set of relays last weekend and didn't have anymore issues. Mine is also a 2007 600SDI. Now if that happens again on the trail, swop the relays see if the sled will fire up so you can get out of the bush.

Has it ever cut out on you while riding? That's how mine went, then died. Was the relay.
Relay, end of story!
but yes, clean up connections check wires, fuse on top of solonoid etc while you are at it.
