Great! Thanks for the info.Send your injector solenoids out to be bench tested and sonically cleaned then retested. This will assure that new short block will live as long as the original. Test or replace oil pump too.

Oh well Paul!! She was real good to you!! Hope I can get throught the rest of the season with mine. Then I tear it down and check everything!! Love this sled to much to get rid of it too!! See ya on the trail!Out a for run on Saturday and she finally died on me, locked right up at around 70mphs. Mileage at 17,012kms on original, never opened engine. Just ordered brand new shortblock, love this machine too much to let it go.

Measure & spec absolutely every possible component before tear down. Then doo the same as you take it apart, including balance gear spacing. As long as nothing seized or fragmented to badly it will give you a heads up to what might not be up to spec on the replacemant. Don't forget to test & clean out pressure pump. Thanks Guys! Will be working on the sled next week, will try to post pictures and details of original engine internals, will be sending my injectors to be cleaned and tested in Nova Scotia. See you soon Kevin!

Just curious as to what that motor is worth? I have a 600SDI MXZ-X engine with 3000KM that I am going to part out, and wonder what to ask for motor.
