I'm looking at buying a 2012 600 Ace Tundra Short track (Sport 137") and was wondering if anyone can speak to actual MPG in varying conditions.

Also was wonering about gun scabber options and mounts. I'd like to mount one on the front across the right side of the cowling....has anyone got any ideas/info??

Any other insight would be great as well.

Thats gonna be a tough one to answer about the milage as the Standard
does not come with the 600 Ace option. Its new in the Sport though. My LT is between 15-21 mpg at the moment for quick #s. Still smells too new though.
You are stuck with the 550 2-smoke. As for the gun scabard, have a look at this thread by WolverineBait. Good Luck and if all else fails, enjoy the pics.

Thanks for responding to the post! I should have posted it as 600 ACE Tundra Short track (137"). Thought it was the standard, but it is the sport. My mistake. Gonna edit the post.

This fuel economy check is on a long track with the track in float position. 16.2 mpg after a 225 mile check. Total miles on machine now is 525. This check included a 92.5 mile high speed/hard accelerating run on a groomed trail. The rest of the miles included trenching, trail breaking, trail riding, long engine warm ups, ect. A good mixture of all conditions. Altitude was an average of 2500 ft and temps ranged from 5F to 20F. I estimate total load between myself and gear was around 300 lbs. My 2012 Tundra LT 600 ACE would get up quickly to 55mph then acceleration would fade really quick. 60 mph was about tops which is plenty fast for this guy. I've never owned a more comfortable, easy to ride utility snowmachine.

56 miles 3gallons. 18.6 mpg. 2011 600ace. Tundra lt. Hard pack snow. 0 to 5500 feet elevation 80 percent of ride was wide open throttle. Was trying to keep up with summits. Lol. If I would have slowed down I'm sure it would have been well over 20 mpg. Love the ACE!
