Anybody ridden up Resurrection this season?
It is open this season and I have one of the cabins rented in a couple of weeks. I am going in to Trout Lake from the Cooper Landing side.
Just wondering how the trail is this year with the windstorms we had earlier this winter and all. I will have a chainsaw so I would be able to deal with a few deadfalls if I encounter any.
Thanks for any info.

It is open this year and closed next... every other year. trout lake is only 7 miles from the Cooper Landing side. Trail may be a little bumpy as people have been on it quite a bit. Your best bet would be to take the fire road up and tehn drop back onto the trail instead of going in at the trail head. ... Have fun, I love that A-frame cabin...

I usually take the winter trail up until it hits the main trail. That must be the fire road you are talking about. I think it is approximatly 10 miles when you take the winter trail.
This will be my fifth trip up there.I go every other year.
They actually built a brand new cabin in 2010 the old A frame is no longer there.
It is good to hear others have been riding it as that means I shouldn't encounter any deadfalls blocking the trail or other major obstacles.
Thanks.
