In the beginning, I had a 2005 Summit 800 HO with a 144 track. I had been toying with the idea of trying to stretch it out to a 151 but I wanted a 2.25 lug and they were kind of hard to find. Then when I got the opportunity to pick up a brand new 154 track off a 2011 Summit I had to jump on it. So with xmas came new 154 rails with a 9” offset made to fit REV suspension. A set of Avid 8 tooth drivers with a 2.82 pitch and a set of Avid 9” wheels. Then for an extra surprise I got a set of Smitty800 drop brackets.

The old suspension bolted right on with no trouble and looks really good with the new rails, wheels and drop brackets. The drop brackets make it allot easier to install the rear suspension too. In the big picture everything went back together reasonably easy.
For a test ride I took the sled to Petersville's bottomless powder, where we were able to find some really good powder to play in. I need to adjust my rear center shock because the front end felt really heavy. All in all I think once I get everything dialed in this will be a very good modification.
