Anyone have "FACTS" on how many were actually built???? Or have one for sale?
Owning a Mach Z is like having a totally hot girlfriend,................ all of your friends want to see it and check it out, they all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

When I purchased my 03 600ho special edition 007 last december, I did some research on them, could never find out how many were built but lots of people said only 600ho were built but have since learned of 800 as well. Mine had 1700 mi and looked like it came out of the show room. It is all stock original including the 007 cover. Mine was the #530. I also learned that each dealer was allowed only one of these to sell. Have no idea as to how many dealerships there would have been at that time. I don't think the current rider of this sled (my wife would allow me to sell it at any price) even myself I really like the look of this sled.

Die Another Day

1000 made, 52 to the US I've heard... I have #255 (600) and they pop up from time to time. I'd like another. I've heard of these 800/007s, but never seen one, or even heard of someone with one  Perhaps they're taking their double-O status seriously

these may help answer SOME questions

but they supposedly came with a bunch of stuff too... James' came with covers, rebuildables all around, they're LOADED, chrome (very sought after) windscreens, I think a magazine, stainless steel license plate (which I can't find anywhere) brass keychain (I have a couple), and some other things too, if I remember. granted, not $11K+... but I think they were hoping value would appreciate more :shrug

Really only 52 available in the US, guess I shouldn't have passed up that one at a local small delearship in late 03'. I remember he had it for sometime as well, maybe because of the high price. I thought it was ugly, and was able to find my leftover x package at a different dealer for a great deal.

There were 800's after I got mine there was one on ebay it was an 800 but it had hit a railway track and it was kind of banged up, but would have been repairable with new nun A arms etc. They were dressed up crome covers on the boggies, crome window they are supper sharp. If there is a part that looks a little guady its the side panel decals, but when you're 007with all the crome some things are acceptable. And unslow is right Die Another Day great movie.

ya way off on the 11k retail!! listed for just under 9k. bought mine for 86##. my dealer has 2 stores and got 4 of them between the 2 stores. the 007's that doo made for sale were all 600ho's, at leasts that i've seen. the sleds used in the movie were 800's and looked nothing like the sled doo sold to the public??? awsome sled but i traded mine in,i dont think they have much more value than any other 03 rev with extra's. i thinks there is 1 on ebay right now. good luck in your hunt.

You're probably right... and to the OP... a lot of buyers stripped the decals off, or totally changed everything. When my James went in for the new motor last year, there was a lady there offering me $2500 just for all my plastics, windshield, and seat... (because she wadded hers) I've since taken all that off, boxed it up in bubblewrap (just in case "life" happens) and gave my James the "tuxedo" look B)
