Hey guys. After breaking 2 handles, I built some billet ones. They are direct bolt on replacement.

Sold the two extra I had, so I'll make more if anyone wants them. $150 plus shipping. I'm not a buisiness, so I'll take paypal.

Also, I'm not keeping them in stock, but I can run them through and ship them within a week. You can see them in the "Stuff by Dootalkers"

Why have you broken 2 handles? I have three 1200's and they have many miles on them and I haven't had a problem with breaking handles. What am I doing wrong? I just pull the lever down and I hear a beep beep noise and when I hit the throttle I go backwards. What do I need to do to break the handle so I can order a 150 dollar one from you?

I think they are a cool accessory and might order one even if not needed if it had some sort of design on it to make it look trick. Whether needed or not for function - kudos to you for making one. Put in some type of custom design on it and they might sell well.

Nice handle, but for $150 I'll go with the stocker. If I break it, I most likely yanked too hard, and a for a few bucks I can get a new one.

I have had more than a few CNC parts made, and even with a buddy in the business, I know $150 does not buy much.

Sorry for any confusion guys.

I'm not saying the Ski-Doo handle is going to break on you.

My experience?, well 1st time I knew I yanked too hard, 2nd time after I thought I had learned my lesson it just ended up in my hand.

I'm probably just too hard on stuff.

Just giving another option here.

I also realize this doesn't fit the look of everyone's sled, it did mine, maybe it does yours.

I wish I could sell them cheaper, the ones I had on hand I did. But I'm not really making anything on this, when you just figure the hours it took to get the first one made, and the time it takes to make another. I'm basically paying myself like $5/hr. for overtime, and that's if I could sell like 10 of these. Otherwise I'm definitely in the hole on this.

thanks for looking.

Nice machine work. As someone who does a fair amount of fabrication I second the fact that what you are charging isn't too bad. Machining is expensive and all based on time. Most cases the material is the cheapest part. Good work

I have broken both on ours. They updated the handle in 2010, it's a bit longer than the 09's. They break right at the point where they bolt to the mechanism. Guess the plastic breaks down over usage.
