I play a bit of guitar myself (not so much since the kids came along though) and really dig acoustic stuff.

I listened to all of them plus a live vid of them playing "The Tracks". Good sound! Sort of has the same feel as "Iron & Wine", only with a little more up-beat tempo.

Glad you liked them!

It’s a shame so many people listen to only one style of music they miss out on some awesome talent. I’m 49 and listen to just about anything that gets my mojo working. I grew up on Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, love the Beatles and can go from Metal straight into Eminem to Blue Rodeo to Country.
Not to highjack your thread but,
Here’s something I found while surfing YouTube, her name is Lucia Micarelli she does Led Zeppelin’s Kasmir on the violin….if this doesn’t give you goose bumps I don’t know what will. She’s pretty, plays barefoot and rock’s the violin. She really let’s it rip around 2:30 in the video.
Cheers

Sounds like one of my playlists! Bounce from Pink Floyd to Pantera, Garth Brooks to GWAR, Diet Folk (

I have everything on my ipod from frank sinatra to akon. I'm 19 and am more than open to new music. I can't stand when people only listen to main stream music

Not quite folk, but check out the Steeldrivers on youtube... Blue side of the mountain, if it hadn't been for love, midnight train to memphis, where rainbows never die... Not too many bad songs came out of that band. Too bad Chris Stapleton quit, he pretty much was the Steeldrivers.
Now that was something I really liked
