Beware of some grammar problems.....i suck at english..

Well the summer has passed and the winter is comming fast, so i tought i would share some pics (moore to come later on) on my summer project....

The 809 REV project started out as a 809 ZX-summit project but it went south when i was asked to trade my ZX summit to a REV 440X, yep done deal now i was sitting whit a REV 440X -03 shortie and a Mach Z -98 stripped to pieces, not the road i had planned for during last winter;)

So i sold of all stuff i didn`t need from the Mach Z and stripped the 440 Rev down to it`s bare chassie, and sold a bunch of parts, and also found some surprises,,,,cracks....cracks.....and moore cracks....

Half the summer i was looking for parts and working on plans for the chassie. Lot moore to think about when building on the rev compared to the zx when i want the triple in it...

Some info about it:
REV 440 shortie extended to 159"
Rotax 809 triple, ported whit Jaws new and improved pipes for the rev chassie.
Summit 144" boggie extended to 159"
WRP airvents and runningboards.
Boss seat.
and moore and moore.....

So here comes some pictures.

mounted the runningboards, dropbrackets and chassie stiffner plate on the mag side, to get the 809 triple in it you have to cut the mag side and whitout the stiffner plats the chassie will bend...

very nice lookin rig so far.
tell more...
what rpms will the engine turn at?
how close are you to Skelleftea/Ursviken or Ratan?
Per Bostrom have a dyno, in Skell... Glenn Linden have a dyno in Ratan.
It would be great to see your actual power once engine is all together. I mean if you spend that kind of $$$ then to get dyno service would be an investment and help out so much in clutching.

next question - what you doing for clutching on that? hmm?Attached File  madscientist.gif   15.43K   3 downloads

From the beginning the engine supposed to be stock whit the Jaws only on it but 2 of my "dear" friends that has the "know how" about engine tune ups (dragracing and hillclimbing guys) are steering me into another direction so the engine is still in the "planning" stage, not got any moore info right now, have to take it apart, do a crank overhaul to begin whit.

But i`m getting myself one moore engine that will be stock to;)

Yes the engine is going to be dynorunned but probably at M-performance in Mora (dragracing friend used to race for M-perf)but i live close to Ratan so maybe Glenn would be an option, i think my hillclimbing friend now him.

About the clutching, probably going whit the mach z primary (got the 440 primary to) and a team sec clutch, the inside of them will be sorted after or during dyno testing.

I`m still working to get the chassie done so the engine and clutching is not going to be done for atleast 2 moore months, not in a hurry so moore info on that will come later on.
