Lets see what the plans are for the sleds. I'll start,

What's done:
-Removed e-start
-Added bar hooks
-Installed billet hand-guard mounts (old composite ones bent down from the weight of the cover)

What's planned:
-SLP Powder pro skis
-Vent kit
-Install new handlebar heater pads (found broken wires when installing hand-guard mounts)
-Polish tunnel
-LED taillight
-Skid plate

Piggy back fronts and X package rears. Already bought them. Sendt them to Ian for service and valving. Should have them back next week.

Also ordered a set of C&A ADX with 6" shaper bars.

Mobile to fixed windshield...done.

X package steering post. Already have it.

Need to order 8" risers and straight bars from Idooski.

Need handguards. Probably going to wait until the swap meat at the grass drags in October for those...maybe get a deal.

Also may need heaters and grips depending on how the changeover goes if I break anything.

That is all that is defenite for now.

Here are some things that I may doo.

Wrap kit
Tunnel braces
Boyesen Rage Cage(probably next year)

I noticed in one of your other posts you are in Rochester. I am in Loudon have buddies in the Lakes region that ride and I also will take trips up to Lancaster/Colebrook/Pittsburg if the snow around here is gone.
Maybe we could hook up this coming season at some point.

P.S. I wish winter would come so I can stop spending money on this thing and just ride it.

Hell yea man, I'm always willing to meet up with people to ride. Every year a group of guys spend a couple of days in Pittsburg, but we are going to do day trips from The Balsams.

I can't wait for the snow!!! I'm watching slednecks 13 as I am writing this...

I heard they were still going to let vehicles park there to drop.

If not you can also park and drop at SDR or right at Diamond pond. I did that a couple times last year. The best part about the Balsams is when it shuts down you can ride up there. I know I know you guys all have long tracks and probably not much fun for you but me and my 121 with 1" lugs had fun. Hoping to be able to doo it this year with them being closed the whole year.

I never thought about parking in those places. We just started parking at The Balsams this past season, which I only went once. All the other times we drove to Pittsburg, which was a whining session about how long the ride was, which I have to agree. Especially for just a day trip.

This year we are going to attempt more off trail riding, which we found a nice cut through the woods not far from The Balsams.

I hope I'm not the only one counting down the days til I can ride. I'm sick of watching Slednecks and other snowmobile DVD's over and over again.

Put me in for a few rides up at the Burg this year. Want to hit the border cut and Magalliway with the Sled the East crew and who ever else. The Gopro is charged, sled is on the operation table and the dootalk and STE decals have been placed in the back window of the "D". Just need snow and Braaaaaaap!!!!!

H82LUZ, how do you like your clutch kit? I am looking at Cudney and DJ, still trying to find out which one I want to go with.

Also, I definitely want to hit the border cut this year. From all the pictures, the place looks like a great ride. I did find Magalloway Bowl last year, but it was late in the season and hard as concrete. Couldn't do too much... I'd like to try it with a nice fresh drop of pow.

Might as well add:

-Polished tunnel
-Ordered 4Barr LED, waiting for it to come in for install
-Ordered floating secondary spacer, waiting...

Love the Cudney, I got it with the cyl. head last year. Easy install and tune. I got the floater to put in after I'm done surgery. The sled look pretty busy on the lft right now. I have all the tools to do the clutch kit install if you need help. I'm right in Nashua. I also did the blue quick clickers. Makes dial in alot easier IMO. Let me know

Yea, I will let you know if I get the clutch this year. I need skis first... I hate the precisions.

But, like I said I will be trying to talk the wife into a clutch kit for a Christmas present ;)

Caution: I recommend using STE decals sparingly and in moderation! I put a Monster decal on my sled last year, noticeable 7-10 hp increase in throttle response...but then stuck a few STE decals on the old pig, and holy mother of all things 2-cycle...i was doing flippin wheelies over the Arctic Cat dealership roof...one handed...with a cape...and a hot coffee in the other hand...I herniated a cylinder right out the side of my freakin block...woot!

p.s. I love that we've got activity on the wire again...all hail cold weather and all things sled...

I'll have a set of yellow 5.7 pilots up for grabs pretty soon. They have about 600 miles on them and in mint shape if your interested. P M me and let me know.
