well, here's my finished product! I can't believe it actually works. Started with an 02 mxzx 440, figured i should get a bigger motor. I found a 98 670 (yes it's a 670 not 583). made some plans, decided to move to CO for the winter, so I'd need a bigger track. I managed to fit a 151 x 16 x 2 with some work, used an 05 skid. put a rev seat on for fun (super sweet upgrade!) umm, yeah, a lot of work and waaay to much money later, here it is

keeping the stock air box took some work... pvc elbows with BIG coolant hose and electrical tape works good!

did some custom venting because the air box was getting choked by the hood... Cyberdyne temp guage, yes I used the tether as a switch (pull it off, guage turns on, yay!)

this is a beauty! I needed DC to run the temp gauge, so i tried building my own rectifier with parts from radioshack... didn't work. I could only find one battery pack small enough ($75 no thank you) so i built my own from double A's

So there it is, not sure if i should be embarrassed or proud, but i can say this thing rips! comments, suggestions, insults, post em all!

if you want the same machine:

02 mxzx chassis
ported 98 670
440 wiring harness, heavily modified
oil injection delete
custom motor plate
custom intake
re routed coolant hoses
440 coolant bottle and small oil bottle
new exhaust exit hole
cut the sway bar out
handle grip warmers
8 tooth extroverts
tons of rivet grinding and re riveting
new rear suspension brackets (I broke these once already, needed extra rivets when mounted on the outside of the tunnel)
drop front mounting holes down

got lucky and the clutching is great without touching it! probably could be improved though
Just for the record I left the small 440 coolers in and the motor runs at a consistant 116 degrees.

that about does it. Thanks dootalkers for all your help and parts. Without dootalk this definately would not have happened.
