Why doesn't anybody post here? I'm on Hardcore under "stillsledless" and I see there are a few other HCS members on here, but no posts.

What "mopars&mxz" said. However, it would be nice to get to know some local guy's who ride Doo's. Trading tech tips and do's and dont's on the Rev would help me out.

Hello from Frankfort IN. I am a newbie on this forum but not to sledding. Been ridding 35 years or so. The first 8 were out in Wyoming (Centennial) as I was in Nebraska. Moved to Indiana in 1981 and have been riding Wisconsin and the U.P. ever since. I was a Yamaha guy for several years until Doo came out with the Rev chassis, that won me over. Doo always had the best motors and handling, but the ride sucked. The Rev fixed that one, so it was an easy conversion. There are five of us that take a week every winter to do our "guy trip", we have been ridding together for about twenty plus years or so. We love the whole U.P. But have kind of settled in on the Newberry area as home base. Great riding there, as is most of the U.P. I think the reason there are not many posts is because there aren't that many SMB in Indiana, then you have to divide them up by brand, then the Doo guys have to find out about this site, = small numbers I would guess. I am currently sitting here waiting for my Isoplex grease to show up so I can install my blown out PTO seal on my MXZ 800, and then AIRDOO's retainer ring to keep it form popping out again. Heading to the U.P. in a couple of weeks, so need to get it buttoned up.

Good luck with your pto seal, i had to replace mine a couple thousand miles ago. Mine was spraying grease at about 1500 miles and it never popped out. I also love riding in the u.p. but haven,t been going since gas has been so high. One of my buddies is trying to talk me into the trip in a few weeks, we usually ride the eastern u.p. when we go.

Do you go to Hardcoresledder.com? Not near as much Doo stuff, but way more Indiana stuff.

I usually dont ride in the south bend area much. My parents live 10 miles north of me on a lake that is wright on the michigan trails so I usually leave from there. Snow is okay here. IT could be better, but cant complain when you dont have to drive far to find snow. The groomer has been out and its been cold so hopefully we can keep some what of a base for a while. Two and a half hours north at Baldwin MI is supposed to be the best snow conditions in twenty years. Over 105 inches to date. Thats over 9 FT. Check all MI reports at fishweb.com. They just got 7 to 12 last night.

I'm from South Bend. I ride and maintain the Buffalo Run. My brother lives in my parents old house on M51, so we ride the Niles trails from there. Was out until 1250am last night trying to get some miles in before the rain...

Some people are like Slinkies. . . not really good for anything, but you can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Another Indiana guy who just found this area..... near Mishawaka/Granger..... I live near Elkhart County line, about 3 miles off the Edwardsburg trail I usually trailer up to Michgan to ride trails north Grand Rapids. Spent this Saturday in the Manistee forest area and rode on some of the Irons trails. Snow was great in the forest, but trails are not groomed or marked. Got lost a few times. Also, got to do some lake riding on Hamlin Lake.
Have a 2007 MXZ Blizzard 800HO PTEK and a 1999 MXZ670 HO (which is down more than it runs). I've just about rebuilt the entire sled, so hopefully by next year it will be a nice sled. The 99 is my beater sled to tinker with.

Hey guys. East of Fort Wayne (almost Ohio) here!! My dealer is RT Sales in Zulu. Ask the techs about the crazy guy with the Mach Z. They know me well <_< . We just got back from Newberry sunday afternoon (last trip of the year) and now I'm changing gears for bike/ rifle season. If you are interested I heard there's gonna be grass drags at the 4-H fairgrounds (north side of Fort Wayne) sometime around October. The ISA is supposed to be putting it on. There is also a drag event saturday after Thanksgiving every year east of Harlan (SR 101 and SR 37). Here's a pic of my slowmobile.

Here's a link to a video I made last weekend too:
I've been on here for a while now and never saw this forum til today. I've even a moderator and didn't see it!!

Later, Bill

I think the guys are out, but like Letteer said by the time you divide up by brands, if they even get on the board, then if it's to post (not just read), and if their not already on a lot of other boards. It just make our numbers small and then to top it off you need to have something to post that is worthwhile.

I only have a few post here on dootalk but have been around for a while. I'm also on HCS, sledmi, and the one that got me started JohnDee. By the way look at the time & date spacing for this post.
