I was doing a gear change and came across a good deal, so I'm now going to sell my sons current mini z. I'm picking this one up on saturday. Why spend time and money working on a sled when you can buy it finished.

2003 Mini-Z has nothing but the best components. Runs in the mid to high 9’s on, 500 foot Grass Drag Track, at 46 to 49 mph with a 109lb. driver. Stalker Radar Tested. ( MY SON IS PROBABLY 40 lbs WITH GEAR ON)!!!!!!!!

Just be careful man. I put a 6.5 in my kids mini, and they can get in over their head real fast with the added power. Not trying to preach at ya, but I would hate to hear of a kid getting hurt.

I'm actually going to take some throttle out of it or put a restrictor on the thumb throttle until he gets used to it....then I'll gradually move it out. definitely a sled he can grow into though.

To build one of these would cost well over $7 grand. I got it for under half that which pretty close to what a new mini z would cost anyways.

Awesome looking sled. My son is going to be upset it I let him see it. 4 yrs old and asks all the time when he is getting one?

SURE....here ya go.

It runs on 93 octane fuel with octane booster added and actually has a fuel pump instead of the stock gravity feed. It also runs the BR9ECS plugs. It will pull the skis off the ground with me on it (200lbs.) for about 8-10 feet.

good question.......I have no idea. The paperwork says it was tested with a comet clutch, but not sure if this is the same one or not. I'll find out though and post it.
