Bad is going to be pooping his klims with me behind him next year

Have had high blood pressure for 3 years , docs kept giving me more pills and didnt bring it down

out for a hike , did a steep incline and had a heart attack. Doc finally started taking it seriously . The did an angie "o" gram and the main fuel line feeding the lower heart was gummed from bow to stern , shown in the diagram above .

They did a new procedure called rotational atherectomy , first time at st Marys (kit ) so i was a guinee pig . Just like me , always have to be different .

They brought in a tool ( surgery dremel ) that put a wire through the vein in my arm that spins at 180,000 rpm and drilled out the carbon and 2 stroke oil residue

Then they lined it with a new Brembo stainless steel heart fuel line , also shown in the diagram .

I am waiting for the results from the follow up tests and get the ok to get back on the mountain bike and get in shape.

So fair warning to Dootym , yellar , snowdance , biatch banger pro ( i will be right behind you learning your secrets ) stever, daxe, heavy,  and the rest of you doo talkers , if you thought i was aggressive before , wait till you see my chinese version - young me.

In particular lanark lad and lamber look out . I am going to forewarn all the winter animals up the swisha rd , that they may be hearing load shreiking and lamenting echoing through the bush  " why isnt there a 50 after my 8 "

cheers till the white is here .

Sorry about the engine failure Doug. Glad to hear they did a leak down test and found the issue. Go easy on the fresh rebuild until you feel 100%. You have all summer to get ready.

It's all maintenance at this point in our lives. Good on you for keeping on top of stuff.

Any story you can tell is a good story.

Happy mending Guinee-X

Great to hear they found your problem.  i had a minor one compared to yours myself last June 30th while cutting grass.  Two stents installed on Canada Day to clear a 90% and 70% blockage. Doctor said I had a minor attack that could have been catastrophic.  Makes you think.  Enjoy every day.  Just watch those blood thinners as you will bruise almost by just looking at your skin.  See you on the trails!

Take care devilman , those little granddoo talkers are counting on you .

Now THAT'S a mod!
Glad to hear you're vertical. It's crazy how many people these days live through a gripper!
I asked someone the other day why can't we just go in & have a pacemaker/ defibrillator installed as PM
They just laughed at me...guess I'm not at that age yet, but I'm always thinking about this extra weight I'm carrying around with me and if you can see it on the outside you'd be a fool to think it's not inside too
