It's time to make my sled just a bit different than the next with a accent color to a all black sled. I've been thinking about this for some time now, I've finally settled on a color. Ford Ruby Red, it’s a three stage automotive paint system… As Reds go, I’m not a big fan but this is a deep dark red that changes in sunny and cloudy days. I think adding this color to a all black sled will look sharp… I hope!

I don’t have it all done yet but wanted to share with what I’ve got done so far. I'm planning on removing the rear suspension to paint the rails

A before.... and some new pic's of it going together.

sled wrap.jpg Looks good so far. I changed up my all black sled last year with a wrap. I was planning on powder coating just like you but with a blue. I settled on the wrap because the powder coating is too permanent. While you have her all apart service all your bushings and bearings. I just pulled my entire skid apart this weekend and repacked everything. Keep the pics coming

Now that the front is back together, time to remove the skid. Planing on doing the rails red as well.
