Seems a lot easier to put recoil on when motor is out. Anyone put the motor back in with recoil already on?

You can totally and should put the recoil on before the motor goes in

No need to install it without it on

Thank you. Definitely seems like the way to go. Think I could get it back on with the Y pipe on too?

What's the issue putting the recoil on with the motor in the sled? It's 4 screws and all are very accessible.

Wasn't sure it would fit with recoil on when putting back in sled.

The y-pipe will hit the steering shaft. That too can be installed easily with engine installed.

When i have removed the engine i unbolt the recoil and leave it there and dont have to fight with the rope/pull handle?
If somethings not broke,i will fix that!
