Like it says, would you guys buy a brand new, 2017 137" 1.75" lug for $10,850 otd? A local dealership has two left, not sure how much better the 2018 is going to be but I know it will cost me over $3,000 more for the 2018.

Yes I would for sure.  My local dealer has one for $10,700 + tax.  I thought that was pretty good, but i'm not in the market for one.  Personally I would definitely buy a 17 over an 18.

If I wanted a Gen 4 850 Freeride, I would not hesitate.

I know myself and all my buds that got 2017 Gen 4's are happy with them and have had none of the issues that you read about.  I plan to put the doo bulkhead brace (about $40) and the Grip and Rip kit, without there bulkhead brace on it this summer since mine is a summit and I ride mostly off trails..   But if I did nothing but ride trails I probably wouldn't even do that.

That's a significant savings over what the 18 will cost you.

Djm, was that a clever way to suggest holding off for an 850?  lol

The 850 that the OP mentioned was actually part of the price  $10,850  :) The one that the OP is looking at is an 800RE ;)

I would grab it. That's how I ended up with my 1200. Went for a part, 10K later left with a sled. Best thing I ever did as far as sleds. Pretty expensive part, but actually very cheap.

Village in Grand Rapids still had one on their website last week when I looked.  $10,700 plus tax.
