It is a lot of fun to ride really quick. I haven't had the opportunity to race any other sleds.

All I know is that it's not a good idea to line up with a Sidewinder. Not really any problem against anything else though.

How far you want to race? Where I am , the 850 will beat a stock SW all day up to 800ft, maybe more, but after that I assume the Winder kills it.

We only race 660', and run out to 1000' some times.

Only rolling starts. 20 and 40mph starts. Stayed close to about 85-90 then the Winder just starts pulling away, and fairly easy at that. I shut it down at 112 on the speedo. Sidewinder driver never looked to see what he had on his speedo. They are in another class, which I think we already knew. Still prefer my 850 though. But, wow are they fast!!!!

Not even close racing 2014 and newer 800 sleds from BRP, Cat, and Poo we even tried up to 45mph rolling starts 850 jumps out and can't be caught 660-1300ft guessing in length on the lakes even a 1100 Turbo lost bad. If it was close it be more fun but it's like racing 600's with a 800

Ran my sons Switchback with my Renegade. No contest. Tried from a dead start I walk away. Tried a 30mph start still pulled him hard. He is not to happy as he was able to beat my 15 800 Renegade last year.

Ran a Sidewinder and had him for 800ft. or so. Then IT WAS ALL OVER. That thing has legs!

Buddy walked away from me on his 850. I'm on a 15 xrs renegade. I have 100lbs on him as well

the only thing in my group so far that I have raced was an 800ptek with a fresh motor 10 sled lengths behind him at like at 50 and then hit it I could catch him and pass him in probably 700 feet or so and I only had 45 miles on my sled at that time, his 1200gsx-se I can catch him as well but not as quick as I would let him get a run from behind me doing   50 and him passing me him doing about 70 when he went by I could catch him and pass him, and an 1100 turbo cat, to honest was not a race we would do 30 and hit the throttle  even if he hit his first I would pull him by by 5 or 6 sled lengths in about 500' and then we let off, waiting for my buddies with the 13 xf800's to show up, one a long track says he is going to blow me away to about 70mph :headbang

If you Don't start in the morning, you can't drink all day

I petty anyone that doesn't drink, when they get up in the morning that's the BEST there are going to feel all day

Awesome information. Keep the reports coming. I knew the sled felt fast. The only thing i raced was my wife and her 600etec, just for fun. She didn't find it very fun at all, and i think it cost $13,000 for another 850 for her. Thats what i get for picking on my wife and her 600.
