Anybody in ontario have a cracked / broken header kicking around ?
I would like to borrow one to finish my jig and will pay shipping both ways and weld up cracks if needed if I can borrow for a couple days..
Snow on the ground here and trails are open so I am having a hard time getting a sled for mock up.

I have one in WI. I'll pay shipping to you if you ship back. Probably take 6 days to get to you.

Mine has the hole from ripping the mount out (I have the mount to weld back on) and the regular cracks around the collector

Edit - just called my dad and just handed it off to the local guy to weld last night. I'm just a day late as usual

I am not going to copy any particular one , I just need to get outlet in correct location and make sure I don't go any higher or lower because I don't have anything to test fit on until it's completed.

My plan right now is to come a little further forward than the MBRP ( longer tubes but not as long as Hindle ) and keep collector back from muffler so it can be easily changed to fit XS by changing pipe to muffler connection and make springs easier to attach . My buddy should be dropping off new flanges today from machine shop ..

See how it goes I guess ....

That's my plan anyways.

One other question I have is ... does the slip fit center pipe make it that much easier to install  the MBRP  than SPI ?

If it needs to be there I will do it but if it doesn't it will save me some time making it..

Yeah I was experimenting and I could get my mbrp on easily without the slip pipe.

So will you make it have 3 flange outlets, then the 3 pipes slip fit onto those 3 small outlets, so basically the weight of the 3 pipes are not hanging off the engine solidly like MBRP and SPI....much more like hindle or stock setup. Makes so much more sense to me, but im sure the slip fits need to be a good fit so not leaking.

I honestly don't know until I start on it how it will be designed....  as usual I change my mind 40,000 times before I ever plug in the TIG... lol

Leaks are a big no no to me so however it goes it won't leak.
