Can I run these blubs in a new renegade. They are 5900K HID halogen blub. 90/100 watt. Need some thing better than stock.

The stock blubs are 55/60 watt. Any thoughts. Thanks

No don't use them. Use 55/60 replacements, silver star ultras or osram nightbreakers, much better and safer on the wiring

You could melt the headlight housing using a bulb that high wattage.

I need 2 180mm and 2 141mm bogey wheels in all black.  Got any?  http://www.dootalk.c.../#entry13970153

Exactly; it gets warm enough with 55/60's. Wiring capacity is only one variable.

You need to be careful with the LED's too.  The light housing reflects the light based on a halogen style bulb.  LED's shine in a different direction thus not utilizing the reflective capability the housing was designed for.

OK, I read about 100 replies on this subject and it comes down to about 2 choices; PIAA, (Sylvania, Silver Star or Ultras). Theses are plug and play, No problems with;  Can't see in snow mist or fog,  Wrong color, Over heating, and melting wires. Thanks for all the info. A little less is more !  Thanks again Steve

I recently added the Aux light.  When I did, I noticed how yellow the headlights are.  Here are some pics of the stock lights with the LED on: Then one headlight PIAA with one stock, then both switched to PIAA.  I haven't seen them at night yet, but the PIAA is much whiter and brighter during the day than stock by far!!  I had HID's on my last sled and they were always having issues.  Either a ballast or bulb was constantly going out.

They were a great improvement for me over the factory lights and have been very good for me at night. Here is a link where I posted pictures of my install.
