Now that I'm walking without outriggers on a regular basis now, and I have been solely working upper body (resistance training) with the exception of my "farmer's walk" it's time to kick it up a notch and get serious about dropping the pounds......

Seeing that it's all about calories an calorie deficit my plan is to continue to eat pretty much the way I am now as the scales are an have been steady for a few weeks so I figure I'll pick up cardio and see what the scales say and adjust from there......

I'm currently 253lbs as of this morning and I'm planning on reducing my rest time between sets but still lift M-W-F with increasing strength as my #1 goal but adding daily walks for 20-40minutes to start.....

Anyone else doing anything.....thinking of doing anything.......talking about doing anything but just can't seem to get started.....

I could stand to drop 10 and get under 200.

My problem is I'm Italian and love my pasta! LOL

I'm up and down a lot. I eat what I want and have never been through the gym door. I work hard and play hard. Right around 260 now which is down a bit.Usually at 280ish. I carry it well. If it ever is an issue I might put some effort into dropping some but I'm happy at this size.

Good for you!!!

Yes, I need to do something, I'll never "hang in there" if I don't! (Some days I have to come up for air before I get my shoes tied!!!!)My issue is everything I eat goes to push my belly out, I just don't get it????

Seems too much is going on, then by the time I need to shovel the driveway I always which I would have started doing "something" back in July!!!

My main motivation to lose is that the doctors say it will help me.......I'm pretty stout and even my PCP as never mentioned my weight as a negative until she got the report from my PT saying it's effecting my flexibility.....

Flexibility is something we don't think about enough I guess.

Remember when we flex and stretch all the veins within us do that too! (Clearing them out of some of the not so good "stuff")

I was doing so well until all the birthday parties hit.  Cake, Ice-cream and usually pizza or burgers.  Lost 20, gained 20.
