I think all accessories plug into the BUDS connector now.  Not sure where I read this.

I think that is only for XP,XR, XU....not XS tho.

+12v accessory plugin:

After some feeling around, I found there is the +12v plugin coming off the main TOP plugin that is in center of sled with hood removed.  Just feel around behind there where top of frame all comes together near top of steering post.  Two plugins are there, but way in behind so you need to feel for them,  The smaller one is the 12v plug which is same as many BRP accessories.

RED ARROWS in pic show the short wire with brp accessory plugin, red circle in 2nd pic shows plugin.

PILOT 6.9 SKI

By far the best ski IMO for these 4s sleds is the Pilot 6.9.

Leaders on Ebay usually has them, but are getting more rare so grab them when you see them!

http://www.ebay.com/...uFWzTeM&vxp=mtr

Part numbers below, left and right ski have different part numbers.

Pilot 6.9s Handle Bolts-Stainless steel

Just a quick few shots and some info here....Really got sick of the BRP rivets for pilot ski handles. So I finally decided to just use bolts/nuts like many have suggested.

I went with Stainless steel, with Nylock nuts......Im pretty anal about how things look so I was sure to get the best size so they would not stick out too far past the nuts.

Here is what worked best for me....

5/16'' Diameter

3- 3/4"

1-3/4"

Unplug the two main plugins shown here....

I also decided to remove the gas tank cowl/shroud, since I have much wiring/electronics to hookup and this allows for easier access to the iTC shiny wire plugin that needs to be unplugged, its under and behind the tank shroud.

REMOVE:

-Gas cap

-retaining screw(under gas cap)

-Two large torx bolts- one each side

-seat off to remove the gas tank cowl

-Unplug DESS plugin and ECO switch plugin(underneath cowl)

TIP: Put gas cap back on so you dont drop something in.

Set bars below riser.....cant set them too far as wires all still connected.

Gotta remove the large plugins up thru the old riser....unbolt bottom riser clamps to do so.
