Trail up to Walsh full of big moguls...cut across to Vee Lake ice road portage, down Vee Lake (flat run, lotsa fun !).
Took immediate right at boat launch to road/trail to Marten Lake, trail in great shape, deep snow in places.
Watch for ATV ruts as somebody's been having fun getting stuck out that way...
Rest of ride back through Long Lake uneventful, no overflow anywhere yet.
* Trail from Kingland to Force One is full of dirt and debris and VERY rough !! *
45km total ride from Winks back to home.
Snow is forecast over the next few days, let's hope we get more than a dusting to bring the trails near town back to decent condition.
Long range forecast is for below seasonal temps. for the next few months so we may be still riding in May !!
