yep, thats a blizzard, blizzard production ran from 1969-74* as non-consumer- race only models. * the 74 Blizzard was never raced, and i believe Yvonne Duhmell (sp??) has the only one left. the last blizzard that was raced was in 73.

the 78-84 models were used for both racing, and consumer sleds. in 79 the Blizzard replaced the T'NT as the high-performance consumer sled.

75-77 the racing models were all T'NT R/Vs
ski doo crazy
so r u telling me that my 1980 blizzard was used for racing too?????? and wat is the top speed for it ??? if u know.
396F/A
The `78 to `84 "consumer" Blizzards are not race sleds !! Sure they were raced as stock, but they are not "race" sleds.
There was Blizzard race sleds in `70-73 as indicated earlier, & correct, there is only one `74 Blizzard remining, it is a 650 - 3 cyl F/A. There is replicas of `74 Blizz being built.
There is LC race Blizzards from `77 - 79, they are Blizzard 250, 340, & 440 super stock & super mods, but are much different than the consumer sleds. biggrin.gif
ski doo crazy
oooooooooo crap so now my sled is a piece of sh&% or is it a good sled????
citationuser
its still a good sled...juss not as good as the racers
ski doo crazy
i am going to juice mine up and lower the stance i may even run strait pipes.

Hi guy I:ve got some pics of my sleds, yet when we try to post them, a pop up tells us that they are to large, even though there no larger than the picture of the 9700. When we try to resize them they still come up as too large. Any ideas? thanks, Bb

About the race blizzards skidoo made 1977 super mod blizzards in 250,340
and 440 modles and a super stock 440 blizzard .
1978 ski doo made 250 ,340 and 440 super mod super stock racers the were
the first ski doo with indpendant front suspention they dominated the ovel in all but sno pro ski doo had poor riders for the 1979 season ski doo didn't call there race sleds blizzard because fo the confusion between the race and production sleds

A note a bout the ticture of the 1972 650 blizzard there were 6 modles
the 292 ,340 ,650 and 797 were triples and the 396 and 440 were Twins
with the first rotary valve the R.V engins were so slrong for 1973 they mad RV,s
in 294 340 and 440 the 400 class was droped the 650 and 800 were tripples

all the blizzards were winers atleast as fast as the conpition if they diden,t
dominate

I beleive that is a 1973 Blizzard. just so skidoo crazy knows. The Blizzard was originally just for racing starting in the late 60's. I can't rememeber exact year, I was a young pup back then.
