Looking at switching from Cat to a 600RS and have a few questions.
1. What is the horsepower on a 600RS?
2. What are the differences between the '08 and '09?
3. Was there issues with the '08's?
4. What needs to be done to trail convert one?

2. What are the differences between the '08 and '09? 09 has more bracing, 09 also has a different ecm map
3. Was there issues with the '08's? Make sure it has an updated drive axle
4. What needs to be done to trail convert one? Bigger gas tank, unplug the hot start button, and revalve shocks (IMO), you can also regear if you want, put a 25, 26, or 27 Tooth top gear in, 26 and 27 require longer chain

What type of cooling does the RS have? Any issues with cooling?

Front radiator and full length tunnel radiator. No problem for trail riding.

the flap gave me some cooling trouble before on hard pack....strap it to your tunnel and ur golden
