So i've been on vacation for awhile and have lost track on how the mountains are. I know the loggers are done at Brohm but the road is kinda sketchy still... but we are looking to ride this sunday
hows the snow in the whistler area? brandywine, sprout, brohm etc? can we ride up from the parking lots?

4 ft of fresh and bluebird last sat at rutherford. pics i saw of brohm didn't look like near as much snow. you can ride up from the lot at brandy and rutherford. traffic to whistler was complete "edit for bad language".

Thanks Rob. I can always count on you to watch the BC forum
Im pretty sure we are planning to head up near somewhere whistler. traffic will be awful but we gotta get up there while we can. I guess its squamish thats get really backed up or is it the whole sea to sky?

Yeah, you can pretty much ride from the parking lot on the sea-to-sky corridor.
The road going up brohm is not too bad if you're not pulling a trailer. It does get icy higher up and unless you ride a bit on dirt, chain is probably a good idea.
I'm looking for someone to ride with on saturday.

I was at rutherford with Rob on Saturday . Got stuck a lot !! Digging myself out wasn't nearly as bad as dealing with jongers on the highway to whistler
If I fail at selling ol' jumpy till this weekend i'd be up for a ride on Sat.

the hill down through britannia beach i didn't top 20km/h. took an hour and 20 min to get from squamish to whistler last sat. i'm sure its only gonna get worse from here on in. we'll see this weekend but it may be time to learn the coq for a few weeks/months. (long "edit for bad language" drive there though.) soon you will need a pass to drive past squamish as well. too bad baker hasn't been getting good snow either. f--kin olympics!

Can you go up to Brohm? "edit for bad language" if you're pulling a trailer but way shorter drive vs rutherford and it's not as overrun as brandywine.
I've been to the Coq once and man it was a long drive. It's kinda hard to justify going there when I can be at Brohm or Tricouni in about 1 hr.
