Hey guys, I'm thinking of going to Okanagan College and just curious what the snowmobiling is like around that area. For all I know they don't even have snow.

Thanks.

Not much around Kelowna. Only area I know of that is really any good is Hunters Range East of Enderby I'm sure there are other area's closeby though.

as far as riding areas. Hunters and Kingfisher are my favourites. both are just down the road from enderby.
The local spot would be Greystokes. It is pretty decent for the distance. If you are a flat lander then you will like it, there are some hills and meadows and trails and 3 cabins(that I know of)
If you check the Big White ski hill web site it will give you a fair idea of how much snow is there as they are close together.

I havent been up to Hunters yet but I hear there is only 3-4 feet at the cabin. Can anyone confirm that?

King fisher usually has more.

Contact me if you are in the area.

Well, you're only about 2 hrs away from Sicamous and 3 hrs away from Revelstoke.

Lots of riding to be had in the okanagon, it realy depends what your looking for. The closer areas offer excellent trail riding and for flatlanders its a dream to ride these areas as they offer excellent views, great snowconditions and least expensive.
Greystoke area is controled by the Kelowna club and will cost you to go ride but offers both excellent trail riding and beginner intermediate mountian riding with warm up challets and cabins.
If your more the adventurous rider and are looking for the big stuff and money is not a problem then the northern part of the okanagon(north of Vernon) offers many riding areas from beginner to highly advance(pro). Some of these areas guides are a good idea.
