I am installing a nippon denso ignition from a 1986 formula plus on to my 1977 340 rv.I am looking for some info on what flywheel can be used and also what would be a good spec to use for timing at BTDC.

Timing was 1.0 mm BTDC or between marks @ 6000 RPM with stock ignition.You need a ND flywheel but cant tell if you can find one with same taper tho.Have yout hought about keyway location?
