The 06 and 07 440 had the 470 ohm resistor for the pipe preheat built right into the switch/button on the handlebars? as oppose to the earlier models that had the resister inline down further?

Just asking because my switch has been taken off, and if I am right about the above statement then obviously mine is unhooked and set to the 91 octane curve.

I looked up some part numbers and in 2004 the part number listed for the preheat button says "BOUTON *SWITCH
515176269 (replaces 515176090)" so I assume this means that the newer ones indeed are different from the earlier models.
