Transprotation of sled, gear and tools is 315. Ride along for free in the extended sleeper.
The lodging and food package pricing and ammenities for this ride is astounding. TML has a super rate available when you book through MOMS. ONLY $90 per person per night.

This is all included in the $90 per night:
10% discount on Togwotee package rates
Lodging(cabins or lodge rooms)
Breakfast(buffet style)
Dinner(menu items)
Happy hour drinks and appetizers for two hours each night
Free shuttle to and form the airport
Togwotee Snowmobile Guide each day
Ten percent off gift shop purchases and rentals
Ten cents off each gallon of gas
Hot tub pavilion

Transportation cost-$315 (@2.75 per gallon)
Lodging cost- $720 Peak Season ($540,only in December)
Total Cost $1035 for six days of lodging and riding
$ 855 In December Only***

Sled rental is also available through TML if you decide you wanted to rent. I think they are 150+ per day.

Fell free to ask any other questions.

Yeah do you know how a Yamaha apex would handle in Cooke city roflrofl.gif , how is it going this is Todd from Mn. I might be looking to do something again if you have any openings left in Feb.

I would highly recommend Moms I have been out with them twice now and will be doing it again.

Todd,
Dont pick on the yamaha guys. Wait, that was some funny stuff watching a man being handled by his sled.

We are trying to fill the semi again in late Feb. I have another thread talking about a forum ride. Jump on there and create some buzz. We are trying to fill the Feburary trip with a slew of fellow forum junkies. I already have developed some interest from some guys from thunder bay. Picking you up in MN would be a perfect addition.

We DO NOT have a destination picked out yet.

Does the $75 lodging, breakfast and dinner package through MOMS and Bear Claw at Cooke City seem appealing again? or should we venture to a new destination?

Anyone who is interested in joining in on a Feburary trip out west or ANY of our other scheduled trips, let me know.

Throw your short track in the semi, you may be suprised. If there is tons of powder or you wanna climb, rent a day or two.

Check out this thread, Testimonial of shorties in the mountains

We are booked by a private group for a two week ride in January. Rabbit Ears, Snowies, Encampent, 10 Mile, Med Bow and Cooke. So after the new year we will just be preping for the season to ramp up.

In Feburary we are open for booking to ANY destination.

The available dates are, Feb 15th-21st OR Feb 22nd-27th.

These can be planned to go to TML, Cooke, Island Park, Colorado, Snowies or any place a group desires.

The march riding out west has been phenominal each season too.

Wanna start some buzz and book the opening in Feburary? Check this thread

If you guys would shorten up these trips and go more often I bet more would go. 6 days of riding out west for mid-west riders is a lot. Or maybe it's just how I like to ride when the snow is deep... Also bringing the cost down would be appealing to a lot of poeple. Make it 4 days of riding (max) and leave the last day which would save 3 nights lodging.

Thanks for the input, we will concider it. The trouble is shortening the trips riding days doenst shorten the drive for our driver, nor does it put less mile on the rig each go round or save any fuel cost.
Ont_Rider
The price seems reasonable to me for what you're getting. Unfortunately money & time are in a bit of a short supply this year sad.gif

Where do you normally pick up in MI?

When we depart Reed City, MI heading North- Pick ups in Gaylord, Grayling, MI, St. Ignace, across the UP, WI, MN, I-90 or I-94.

Depart Reed City, MI and going south- Pick ups in Grand Rapids, MI, South Bend, IN, I-80, I-90, or I-94 we try to get as close as we can for our clients. We cant veer too much off course as we get 4-5 miles per gallon and are pertty long with the 53 ft trailer and extended sleeper cab.
We load up in truck stops, rest areas, gas stations, or off ramps. Open the doors, drop the ramps, load up and go...

If the truck is booked by an entire group we are willing to travel for pick ups as well.

I understand what you are saying but I am not saying you need to cut "your" prices. Actually I think your prices are great. It's all inclusive Tog price that adds up very quickly. I'm shot after 4 days out west unless doing all year...

I will run it by the boss. We aim to please our customers and afford everyone the opportunity to hit the western mountains.
How about a more affordable all inclusive? Cooke City only runs 75 per night.

We have availability in Feburary, there is another thread talking about a forum ride, lets move this discussion there and see what others think.

X 2, Thats the problem I am having convincing my friends to go, a week of riding is hardcore, (and i like hardcore) if they want to take a week off work they have to spend it with their wives on a beach hugs.gif headbang.gif
Its an easier sell when you say 4 days as opposed to a week.
Keep your pricing the same, airlines dont give a discount if you fly somewhere overnight or for a week. For me its more about the time than the price.

Jacob your right, the costs are the same for your crew, you might burn out them truck drivers running back and forth stready though huh.gif
Its just a thought, you know your bussiness better that anybody else and what it takes to make it work.

I sent Jeff from T Bay an email so hopefully I will be joining you in Feb riding.gif

and drive back to T Bay Saturday, unload all the gear Sunday and back to reality for Monday dry.gif

Here are some pics from this weeks powdery ride at Togwotee with Momsmotorsports.

Ill try to put some more up as we get out and ride. These first couple of days have been plagued with early season breakdowns and low lighting conditions due to the snow falling.

This is one of our first time mountain riders, enjoying the powder and hills. His 136 is burried.

Feb Will have a Base, in Dec there is no base, just bottomless pow. I noticed even Jacobs Summit is Stuck tongue.gif
cc-rider
I would bring $ for a rental. they are only $175/day for brand new 800's or 700's. My suggestion is to go with the polaris. Even if Feb, that snow can be endless powder. Go with a package deal and get one of the Togwotee guides to take you around the mountain. They are top notch and worth every penny....guarantee you will see parts of that area that you'll never, ever come close to finding on your own.

Two of those are 136's and the Summit is 144. We are having a blast out here. Rev Kev is right, we are lacking base but, the powder is bottomless and deep.

Momsmotorsports.com loads sleds and rider from the mid west, bring your shorty and ride it if conditions allow. If you want to or feel you need to rent then you can. Some of these guys can really rip on there own sled. They are doing powder doughnuts around less experienced riders on mountain rental sleds.

TML guides are the great, they will show you stuff you would never find and cater to your riding style. trail, extreme, boondocking, sight seeing. These guys are well worth the cash, remember to tip the guide too.
