Trying to find the proper info i need before blowing this thing up. Just picked up an 08 Summit X 800R with a new long block and really looking forward to getting to the places where my Renegade could not.

I am at 0 to 2000 ft and would like to know what consist in these sea level kits. Engine mods, calibrations, clutching, gearing etc... Main concern is engine calibration and carburation.

Pretty bad having to go this way to get the answers, phoned 2 dealers and asked them and did not get much response as they don't even sell them.

Since I don't know where you are so I will list my local time so you can see the time difference between Alaska time zone and yourself. Here in Alaska MOST of our riding is between sea level and 5000' so our dealers SHOULD be familiar with the low elevation Summit kit. Local time is 2:27AM

Both are oen 9:00 Am to 6:00 Pm AST
Team CC (907) 357-3200
AMDS (907) 277-1741

Ask for the parts dept. Either of those SHOULD be able to give you parts numbers to what you need

You really shouldnt need more than clutching. The jets adjust themselves from 0-10000' so your fine there. Look into a Dynamo Joe Flatlander Kit is all I did. I rode last year stock, just gotta be careful it doesnt over rev. I ride at about 1500'

The low elevation kit is clutching only, and not a good calibration anyways (had my 800 done and it was not much different than high elevation cal). Don't bother with parts from Doo. Go to Dynamo Joe's site and tell him your elevation and riding style; his kit is better. You won't regret it

welcome to dootalk!
doo's kit contains a new primary spring and wieghts for your clutch and cost 90 bucks.
as mentioned above, i would/did go with one of the aftermarket guys on here and get the most out of your clutching.
if you do the clutch work your self you will need the right clutch tools for the job. C&T Tools on here makes a kit with all the tools you need and a dvd on how to do the clutch work.
the doo kit will be easier and quicker to install as you dont have to take the secondary off. but you will get much better performance if you go with a full clutch kit.
the doo kit 90.00
the aftermarket guru's between 150.00 and 300.00 average
tools: 200.00 for whole kit (or 100.00 if you just do the doo kit and want to wait on the secondary puller.....i recomend getting whole kit so you have it as you will probably need it eventually).
lastly, and most importantly, this site is loaded with info on anything and everything with very knowledgeable people that will help and answer any questions you have.

Thanks for all the info, no thinking here, how does one go about ordering the clutch from Dynamo Joe.

I have a kit that comes with 200/320 primary spring / QR11 helix / pin kit.

I have an efficient order form where you can tell me all the details so I can come up with the correct parts for your application.

Please browse the Support pulldown tab for calibrating information.
You can also check the forum regarding clutch-only dicussions.
