i got an 04 800 with a 151 and i was thinkin about putting a 2 wheel kit on it. do they hold up with a lot of jumping and also has anyone noitced the sides of the track wearing funny. i know they make it easier to sidehill and help you stay in the groove better biggrin.gif but i just don't wanna get stuck with a broken axle or a ruined track when there is good snow out there.

on the vent kits i was just wondering which one would be good for my setup? i have a slp intake kit so i don't know if i can put anything on that side but i could on the other. any help would be great

thanks in advance

i have been running a 2 wheel kit from smitty on here for 2 years and have no problems at all. the track isnt wearing odd at all. i also have a vent kit from idahodoo on here also. i HIGHLY recomend his kit. it fits and looks great. you can see the vents and 2 wheel kit in the picts i added.

You'll break wheels before you break an axle. See the other thread here on dootalk. But, everyone is different, and one man's jumping is another's cruising. If I was a jumper, I'd go 4 wheels, but that's me. And I've broken aftermarket wheels on two wheel kits twice.

I've run idahodoo's vents, also, excellent quality, fit, and very cool look. Mine where honeycomb, also, and tho they did 'collapse' abit on the clutch side from rolling the sled on it's side, many times, they pop back out, and never suffered any damage or rub. If you're not as hard on them as I am, you'll not have this problem. Oh, and they cool like you have no side panel, and the fine mesh never let in ANY snow.

thanks for the advice guys. i like the looks of how the smitty's axle kit are on the sled and how they are made very clean. also the idahodoo vents are probably the ones im going to go with. my brother has them on his M8 and he loves them. thanks again

Don't forget about diy. You can save a whack load of money by building both those kits yourself. I built both kits for my sled and they work great. Not to mention with the vent kit you can customise them for you own look. There are a few threads on here for both jobs.
