Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone runs the ipone with the strawberry scent. Just wondering if the scent actually smells good, would it be bettter to run this if the rest of the family hates the smell of normal two stroke fumes when u come home at night? haha had some troubles last winter. But I dont want to give up the smoke or smell? iuno

A buddy of mine bought a gallon of that last year. If im not mistaken it was like 45.00. We really could not smell the strawberry scent. He wasnt impressed with it and did not buy it again. Not to say it isnt a good product..just letting you know our experience. Maybe it was his Polaris.....
I'm pretty conservitive as well and don't buy into the big hype of all the different oil brands. there's mineral semi-synthetic and synthetic....I get Semi now and don't pay much attention to the brand. Not tryin to start another oil war..just my oppinion.
high priority
I use it in all my sleds. Some people can smell it and others can't.

Well, the reason i ask is it retails for roughly the same price as the brp mineral....at my dealer anyways...and it's fully synthetic i believe isn't it? I looked at the amsoil and it was roughly around the same price, if not a little bit more...

Does anyone know if it matters to interchange the strawberry scented one with the normal ipone?? thanks guys

I ran the strawberry Ipone in my 98 formula 3 all last season, with great success. I like it, and plan to use it this year also. It smells WAY better than Doo oil IMHO.. I have heard some bad about the amsoil, so I steer clear..

I haven't run into anybody that's used it, so I have yet to pass judgement on it. I've heard plenty of good news about that and Amsoil. I think anything that has the "BRP" label is overpriced and always look at alternatives that work better for around the same money. The only real way to find anything out on sleds is to just try it out. Every sled reacts different to every situation it's put through.

Good Luck,
Bob

I ran it in my 05 mach z for 2 seasons. It coated the engine around the crank and bearings better than doo or blue marbel did. Those are the only oils I have run, in my opinion stay away from blue marbel in the SDI 1000. Blair Morgan used to run it in the mod race sleds. Hope this helps. By the way, I loved the way it coated all the engine components. I do not sell it or make money off from it either biggrin.gif .

My brother used to run sea and snow in his poo. That stuff stinks i bought him two gallons of interceptor for Christmas. Sled doesn't stink anymore. I have been running Blue Marble in mine for a couple of weeks now in my f3 used to run interceptor. No change in performance but once my sled is warmed up my buddy says he cant smell me at all. Its the same cost as interceptor but its supposed to be better for the environment. I will continue to use what ever one is easier to get.

sorry I meant to say, I can only faintly smell the "strawberry" smell when we're taking a break..... It doesn't stink at all, smells good if u can smell it at all. And it mixed good with the oil that was already in the tank from last season.. Overall I like it! The jug has a nice spout for pouring also
