Hey guys, what are the best plugs for me to run on the 99FIII700, I have BR9EYA's in there now by NGK, is there a better brand or model for these sleds? thanks

champion 8902.......the best I have seen yet

BR9's are fine IMO. If you are fouling them out left and right....it's most likely not the plugs. The EYA is a good plug but costs more. Get some solid tip plug, gap them correctly and maybe think about dropping the pilots down to 45's. Less fouling on warm up. Another good upgrade are the Evinrude Sierra coils AKA High Output coils.

ngk my first choice but autolites are also a great plug 4062 is the cross reference# for the br9es

They're cheep and work just fine.why spend more on a plug anyways? If you're looking for a performance gain (HP), you won't find it in a plug so stop looking.

If you're fouling plugs, then there is something causing it. Find that and solve the issue.

That said, I have fould plugs before and it's usually the first ride of the season when there's old gas and a crap load of fuel stabalzer in the mix. Once I get rid of that and fill the tank with fresh gas, the plugs are in there for the season and I do lots of miles each year.

Its really hot! skidoo origonaly had br10s on it and later found them to be slighty cold and rerecomended the br9es or br9eya.

brp recommended champion 8902 for those who had a lot of plug issues.there almost the same price and work really well.I found this out when talking to a brp mechanic one day.45 pilots are a must also!

BR10's were recommended for the Mach Z and 9's for the 600/700 triple. Be careful when gapping the plugs with the small electrode! You could damage them fairly easily if you're not paying attention.

All these plugs with extra ground straps haven't convinced me. The spark is going to take the path of least resistance. IMO I don't see it jumping to two or more ground strap simultaneously.
