While I have many years with other sled types, this is my first new SkiDoo. I bought a 2010 GSX SE last April as part of the spring promotion. The deal in Canada was a second year warranty plus $350 in parts and accessories. I bought my accessories and dealer says that SkiDoo will send me a form that I fill out and send in with dealer receipt for accessories. I picked up sled about 6 weeks ago and the accessories a couple weeks ago, I have not received anything from SkiDoo re the warranty or the accessories. Does this sound normal? A buddy of mine who buys SkiDoos says he does not recall ever receiving anything from BRP after buying the sled.

You should receive the warr card in the mail but the acc deal is not normal, and I have bought alot of spring break sleds

To best of my memory you never get a warranty card, the sales receipt is part of the of registration process and dealer does it on-line. It you have a BRP BEST extended warranty you will get a letter and a card for that. As for $350, Yes BRP will send you a form, but best guess you won’t receive it until after December 1st. Don’t expect to get your $350 back until about March as it’s a slow process. They like to hang onto you money for awhile.

Maybe in Canada, but I got my stuff when I picked up my sled, no extra paperwork.

Hmmm, we just picked up our new 2010 sled. (G/T LE) We were given an option for the extended warranty, OR a $350 accessories credit, but not both. We had the dealer order us the "trunk bag", and then we used some of the balance for a spare belt and a gallon of oil. We still have $65 left to spend at the dealer whenever we wanna. Your deal sounds a little screwed up. Not sure you were supposed to be offered both the extended warranty AND the accessories credit. ????

I'm not sure you were supposed to get "both" on an "X" ,but I went in to my dealer and made a deal on a TnT,then at the last minute changed it to an X. I ended up getting the 3yr warranty,PLUS the $350 accessory cash. I didnt need the accessories,so I had them apply it to the price of the sled (wich they had already discounted) So I dont know if I was supposed to get both incentives or not,but I did. So shame on them for not catching it.Needless to say,I got a "good deal" (dosnt happen very often when buying new)

I got both. It depends on which sled you bought.

I got a question about this accessory program. Earlier this month I was at the dealer and looking at a 2010 GSX Sport and the salesman pointed to the sign and said for the 2010 models I had a choice of 0% financing for 6 months, $350 in accessories or a 3 year extended warranty on top of the factory one year. I figured I would go with the extended warranty. So last week I put a deposit on the sled and am suppose to pick it up this weekend. The salesman that I was dealing with was out and I talked to the sales manager but now he is telling me those options are not available and that they were for snow checked sleds ordered last spring. I asked them why is the sign still hanging up and the salesman used it as a selling point.
So my question is to anyone who just bought their sled in the last couple of months did you get this deal or was it only for the people who ordered in the spring. I can’t find anything on Skidoos site.
And now a 3 year extended warranty will cost $700.

I bought a '09 leftover and had the choice of those 3 options & took the extra warranty.
When I wanted to buy an X leftover or a '10X after spring check, they wanted more & there where no incentives thrown in.

Hope that helps. Good luck

Also got both, had to wait along time for the rebate check but was worth it, spending the 350.00 on acc on VIP night with 35% off my purchase was a wicked deal walked out with everything I needed. biggrin.gif

Wow! 35%, never seen that big of a discount, especially in Canada.
