The trail is just about complete. I walked it and it is really a wonderful piece of work. Thank you to the following gentlemen and many others for all the hard work that we will all be able to enjoy.

David Fucci - Shrewsbury Snobirds - (The Fucci Company) provided and operated his excavator

Jay Young - Green Mountain Snow Fliers ( Owns Woodstock cookie company, they make great trail snacks!) - provided and operated his excavator

Marty Markowski - Pittsford ( Markowski Excavating) - provided giant excavator ran it himself until noon then provided an operator

Chris Wilk - Wilk Paving (club affiliation?) provided 2 excavators he and a friend named Keith ran them

C.J. Williams Excavating (Club affiliation?) provided and ran his skid steer ( Dammers I think)

Dave Dutton and Chittenden Dammers

In case you don't know this trail crosses Rt 4 just above the highway garage and connects Chittenden & Shrewsbury.

Really appreciate the effort and hard work that went into this herculean project. It will be nice to be able to ride south without the Bridgewater nonsense now. Where does this trail intersect in Chittenden? Not sue how I feel about crossing Route 4 on a sled but hey, you only live once. Again, thanks to all those who contributed and beers are on me!

You head out to the end of Wildcat road ,it is on the curent map it deadends and that is where the trail begins. As far as Rt 4 goes it is definately a place to use caution however where it is located you have plenty of vision in both directions ,the crossing was well thought out but caution is manditory.

is this trail where the gravel /sand pit is it looked like you could go straight but wasnt part of the trail. this will be a great addition to the area trail system
