Is turning your air screw in half turn make if more Rich or Lean?

On older Ski Doo sleds with a Mikuni,you lean out when turning OUT.

turning the screw in reduces air
most sleds with mikuni carb the air screw should be set at 3/4 out...
remember that the jetting is really want you change if are trying to richen or leanout an engine

It is a 1989 Formula Plus, just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly... Not changing anything right now... For future refernce wanted to ensure I had it correct... Currently it is set to 3/4 turns out..
