Posted on another site with no luck so why not here for a try. I'm thinking that the true restorers go down to replacing and replating parts to make their sleds look like off the line new, so on and so on. Where are they getting the correct colored white slidders that they have on their show sleds because I can not find them anywhere? I"ll go with yellow if I have to because I seen a sled on Bob's site, now The "GOOSE"S" site with yellow and it set the suspension off really nice.

So nobody on here has ever had to change their their slidders on their sleds when doing a restore?? HUUM?

I think it's more a case of the white slides not being available sad.gif

Yeah I hear you but I see the fresh white slides on sleds at the sled shows and know they are new but just can't locate the source yet. Have you done yellow yourself or you haven't had to change any in a long time? Mark

The local dealer have the white sliders, they are made with teflon, more expensive, but more tough.
I dont know if they fit on the RV's suspension. You could choose the black sliders too, look at the picture,
i found the 4 smaller (on the back of the suspension) sliders in black too.

Hey RVBOY, I can find them a dime a dozen in all parts catalogs especially black but was hoping for a lead to turn me on to some white ones. The style of the RV slides in most books is picture #8. I will go yellow as I seen them on a 76 and 77 RV 340 and it really highlighted the suspension really nice.
