Couldn't I have a custom made aluminum plate molded for that kind of coin? Why is it that sled accessories are so high???

I agree the skidplate is not cheap but once you have taken out an A-Arm (or worse) you'll realize that they just might be worth the coin... I did. Check out my posting "Full installation of Carbon Fiber Skidplate"

Is Carbon Fiber that expensive that the costs need to be so high? I thought BRP was out to lunch on pricing, and I am sure the Carbon Fibre plate is superior (Hard not to be superior to a BRP Part). I was expecting a price about half of what I saw, and at that I'm not sure I would buy it as I don't ride that much off-trail.
