LOWVILLE — The Lewis County Sheriff's Department is investigating several recent camp burglaries in the towns of Martinsburg, Pinckney and Montague.
Area camp owners are asked to check their properties, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 376-3511. All information will be kept confidential.

They got me last year in the spring! Caught them, their doing between 11/2 to 5 years.

I hope they catch the little "edit for bad language"s. Nothing better to do than steal peoples hard earned "toys" for drugs. Maybe they should hold a public stoning like they did in the ole days when they are convicted.

This is the time of year for this to happen. Everyone starts to bring sleds and gear into the area for the new season and the dirtbags dont have to deal with the snow on the ground. Let your neighbors know whats going on and visa versa. Tell them to shoot first, ask ?s later. Junk yard dogs would be ideal if you didn't have to feed them!

Send him the key too in the mail...he left his crowbar at the last cabin.

Naah - just a simple walk around should be all thats needed. We have a camp in the Cranberry Lake area and appriecate it when friends check it out for us. I live fairly close and I'm on the road for work all the time, so I'm just offering the same.
