Hi,

I have a 2004 Renegade X 800 which is having poor throttle response from idle.

The sled will start and run fine. I'll let it warm up and tap the throttle a few times slowly which responds fine. I'll pin it for a second and the engine bogs out for a moment then recovers with good RPMs.

The motor was just completely rebuilt from the crank up. No problems with it otherwise. I have just added a new TEAM Tied clutch and have had the primary rebuilt.

Any ideas?

800 HOs commonly have a lean bog from idle. the cure is to replace the stock #17.5 pilot jets with #20's. i had this same problem and it completely cured it.
